Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Nursing Services Department in accordance with federal, state, and local guidelines
- Coordinate nursing services and other resident services to ensure world-class care
- Assist the Discharge Planning Coordinator to ensure smooth discharge for residents
- Participate in resident admission processes through interviewing and selection
- Perform daily rounds to observe residents and provide necessary support to nurses
- Ensure weekend coverage and on-call duties are taken care of
- Participate in facility inspections by authorized government agencies
Requirements
- Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university
- Prior management experience in long-term healthcare as a Director of Nursing
- Strong critical thinking, communication, team building, and leadership skills
