Primary Role
The Inside Sales Patient Service Representative (PSR) will report directly to the Inside Sales Manager and is responsible for selling and supporting durable medical equipment (DME) including, but not limited to,
Continuous Passive Motion, Cold Therapy, Bone Growth Stimulators, Bracing, DVT Pumps, and Negative Pressure Wound Therapy. This position supports our National Accounts and Inside Sales Department at our office in Windsor, CO. You will be focused on maintaining the relationships established with our current facilities and cultivating new facilities for us to service. The position requires excellent phone communication skills. You will be given multiple leads every week and will work to develop a relationship with those doctor’s offices and facilities. This position requires attention to detail and a high level of organization. A sales background or medical background is strongly preferred but we will train the right candidate. Key Responsibilities
- Answer incoming calls and emails from prospective patients and accounts
- Educate patients on insurance coverage for product (provided from auth team)
- Follow patients until delivery and set-up of equipment
- Troubleshoot patient issues via phone
- Have strong communication with team to be sure all work is completed, and that every patient is fully satisfied
- Taking turns with other team members to be responsible for after hours incoming messages.
Requirements
- Understands customers current/future product and services needs
- Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong customer service background
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized
- Excellent phone and email presence and communication skills
- Proof of Covid-19 Vaccination
- A background check is required
Preferred Experience
- Experience working with Orthopedic Surgeons and the staff
- Experience with selling DME, especially Continuous Passive Motion (CPM) and other post- operative DME
- Sales experience
Compensation
the medcom group, ltd.® believes in fair and rewarding compensation and benefits packages including
Health insurance, life insurance, and 401k. Compensation commensurate with experience, and hard work is recognized through a competitive commission structure (available after 60 days). Pay range $18- $20 per hour.
