We are seeking a Clinical Supervisor to oversee our clinical operations in a fast-paced, professional environment. As a Clinical Supervisor, you will:
- Supervise all clinical technicians, scribes, and clinical support staff, ensuring smooth operations and patient care.
- Act as a liaison between our satellite and main office, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
- Manage staff schedules, handle call-outs, and resolve conflicts to maintain a positive, productive environment.
- Oversee the maintenance and repair of ophthalmic equipment, ensuring readiness for patient care.
- Fill in as a scribe or clinical technician as needed to support physicians and ensure smooth patient flow.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and OSHA standards.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with ophthalmic advancements.
You will need to have the following:
- High school diploma or GED; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field is a plus.
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification is required (can be obtained within 6 months).
- A minimum of 2 years of medical support services experience, preferably with supervisory experience.
- Basic knowledge of medical billing, coding, and insurance procedures.
- Strong organizational and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills and a strong ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
