The Accounting Coordinator will be responsible to ensure accurate entries and maintenance of accounts for clients, vendors, employees and health insurance providers by utilizing general accounting principles.
Responsibilities: Cash Receivable, Private Pay Billing and Collections, Accounts payable, performs any other related duties and responsibilities as assigned and deemed necessary. Candidates must be comfortable handling difficult conversations with family members, possess excellent communication skills and phone etiquette.
Qualifications/Experience
· 1-2 year(s) experience of medical front office work, preferred.
· A minimum of 2 years professional office / customer service experience.
· Experience in data entry, cash posting and processing collections.
· Knowledge of insurance, Medicare guidelines and COP, preferred.
· Knowledge of basic medical claims and third-party operating procedures and practices, preferred.
· Basic computer skills, preferred.
