Summary
The Director of Marketing and Communications will use their deep understanding of and experience with traditional and digital marketing to translate the organization’s business goals and priorities into B2B and B2C marketing strategies and tactics that drive awareness, preference, and census.
The Director will lead the design of a referral engagement program with the partnership of Business Development that will nurture referring HCPs through the pipeline, creating awareness and affinity locally and nationally.
This role will develop digital strategies supported by a robust content strategy across all platforms including web, paid search advertising, organic and paid social media and digital direct marketing. In addition, the Director will develop a structure for reporting analytics, ROI and ROAS.
The Director of Marketing and Communications is responsible for directing and managing internal and external communications as well as public relations activities.
The Director has accountability for management of the Menninger brand standards for consistent and accurate usage internally and externally.

Key Functions
- Develop marketing plans that increase awareness and drive census through robust content strategy
- Develop and manage internal corporate communications strategies
- Participates in the development of the marketing and communications budget
- Manages branding ensuring proper and consistent use of The Menninger Clinic branding
- Oversee digital strategy and ensure that data is collected, analyzed and utilized in decision making.
- Participate in recruiting competent marketing and communications professionals to ensure the department meets goals
- Manages corporate PR vendor relationship and works to ensure public relations initiatives are planned and executed
- Participate in management of paid marketing strategies ensuring campaigns are meeting organizational goals
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism or related field.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience with increasing responsibility in roles in marketing, advertising agency, digital communications and/or public relations, and a minimum of 5 years of management experience. Preference will be given to healthcare experience.
