The Metal Ware Corporation is a privately owned company located in Two Rivers, Wisconsin. Metal Ware has been manufacturing consumer products for over 100 years. We make many of our products here in our Two Rivers plant using injection molding, metal stamping and rotational molding equipment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research and identify reliable alternative foreign appliance manufacturers based on targeted locations that are defined by our customers and internal management.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery.
- Familiarity with Harmonized Tariff Codes, including their assignment and management.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with overseas suppliers.
- Lead the sourcing process for alternative foreign-manufactured appliances to align with company goals and market demand.
- Ensure compliance with international trade regulations and import/export requirements.
- Analyze global market trends, material costs, and supply chain risks to drive cost savings and efficiency.
- Monitor exchange rates, tariffs, and geopolitical factors affecting sourcing strategies.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
