We are “The Miami Valley Group”, an Executive Search and Recruiting Firm and we have been retained by AIDA-America Corporation to go out and find a Human Resources Generalist to join their team in Dayton, OH.
AIDA is a global leader in the design, manufacture, sale, service, refurbishment and modernization of metal stamping presses and metalforming automation equipment. AIDA worldwide boasts approximately 2 million square feet of manufacturing space, 2,000 plus associates and a press manufacturing capacity exceeding 2,000 presses per year making AIDA, in units produced, one of the largest press manufacturers in the world. Currently AIDA has more than 3,000 presses operating in North America and 80,000 worldwide, with capacities ranging from 35 to 4,000 metric tons. AIDA is the pioneer in developing Servo Direct Drive technology for stamping press applications.

What you'll be doing:
- Recruit, interview, and facilitate the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions.
- Implement and administer employee policies
- Provide high-quality advice and service to management on daily employee relations and performance management issues
- Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience
- Offer proactive HR support and internal consultation
- Ensure compliance with employment law and regulations
- Conduct various training and development programs
- Support employee benefits programs
- Handle workplace investigations, disciplinary and grievance procedures
- Maintain employee records according to policy and legal requirements
What you will need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related area of study.
- 0 to 3 years of HR Generalist/Recruiting experience.
- Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
- Good knowledge of employment/labor laws
- Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems
- Excellent communication and people skills
- Aptitude in problem-solving
- Desire to work as a team with a results-driven approach
