In this role, you would be collaborating with a dynamic technology team to lead, design, build, launch, and enhance primary strategic technology/business initiatives helping to drive the achievement of company goals and will report directly to the Director of Operations Technology.
What you will be doing
- Communicate company technology capabilities and future plans with personnel and customers through demos, discussions, in-person visits and remote conferences
- Research, analyze, design, and engineer major revenue-generation and cost reduction technology solutions
- Design and establish technology platforms and tools to operate, measure, and scale major revenue-generation and cost reduction technology solutions
- Assist in developing new technology-based strategies and tactics for achieving superior customer satisfaction
- Understand customer needs in order to consult on company best value pricing
- Create new systems designs to help resolve complex process issues in major production programs
- Audit existing workflow systems and products/services to recommend improvements
- Act as technology liaison between company customers and company personnel to ensure a smooth and value-added process is designed and implemented - achieving superior customer satisfaction
- Attend seminars, training, and workshops which will enhance internal/external technology procedures
- Prepare materials describing company technology solutions for presentation at customer sites, and at company locations
- Serve as a process engineer, when appropriate, for major company technology solutions
- Attend start-up projects, launch meetings, and production meetings, when appropriate, to provide technical support
- Provide technical consultation for company Sales staff and develop materials and programs for on-going employee educational programs addressing all aspects of technology services provided
- Act in full and primary Project Manager capacity for major company technology projects
- Design new technology systems to support company position in the marketplace
What you will need:
- In-depth knowledge of publishing marketplace major technologies
- Demonstrated competence and leadership in solution analysis and software design
- Demonstrated advanced Project Management skills
- Superior communication skills
- Bachelors Degree required
- Minimum of 5 years of publishing/printing services technology experience
