Our Client is seeking a Process Technician (swing shift) for a W2 only, extendable 6-month Contract position in Fremont, CA. This position is onsite. No 3rd Party candidates or inquiries please. This position pays $30-36/hr. W2. Swing shift hours are 3pm-11pm or 2pm-10pm.
Responsibilities:
- Conducts technical tests and experiments to support process engineering within R&D.
- Sets up processing equipment – wafer handling, metrology, etc., and ensures proper operation.
- Pick Up Wafers at Wafer Station, get the wafers measured, deposit a film to the wafers, send off.
- Process test runs and prepare records, charts, and graphs of results for presentation to engineering to identify yield problems or test new products.
- Monitors, audits, and provides guidance to line operators.
- Provides technical support to process development and engineering personnel – 4 Process Technicians supporting 20 Engineers.
Required Skills:
- 3 years of experience as a Process Technician.
- Experience in the semiconductor industry preferred.
- Experience with CDSEM (Microscope) metrology, ellipsometry (Optical Measuring Technique), and defect characterization.
- Experience wearing a Bunny Suit in a Clean Room.
- Good communication skills.
Pay for this position is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. As a contractor you may also be eligible for health benefits such as health, dental, and vision as well as access to a 401K plan.
