Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist to process bills received from vendors, ensuring accuracy and adherence to our financial records.

Main Responsibilities

  1. Safety First: Comply with and promote all Safety policies and procedures, reporting accidents, incidents, and near-misses to ensure the company's Number One Core Value – Safety first, in everything we do.
  2. Invoice Processing: Receive, distribute, and process invoices for payment, ensuring proper approval and supporting documentation.
  3. Vendor Verification: Match vendor invoices with delivery slips and purchase orders using our ERP system, Vista, or email processes.
  4. Data Entry: Verify quantities, prices, and vouchering for data entry into our job cost system.
  5. Research and Resolution: Research vendor statements, phone calls, and discrepancies, resolving issues promptly.
  6. : Process team member expense report reimbursements and assist with credit card charge research and check-run processing activities.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 2 years accounts payable experience preferred.
  2. Secondary education in accounting is a plus.
  3. PC Proficiency (including Microsoft Excel).

  2. Ability to adapt to different personalities and management styles.
  3. Self-starter with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  4. Dedicated and hard working.
  5. High level of attention to detail.
  6. Excellent organizational skills, maintaining focus while multi-tasking.
  7. Ability to work in a fast-paced high-volume department.
