About the Role
As a key member of the project management team, you will play a critical role in meeting project deadlines by developing resource allocation plans and coordinating with stakeholders. Your strong analytical skills will enable you to identify and mitigate schedule risks, delays, and changes.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive project schedules using CPM scheduling software packages like Primavera P6 Professional and Microsoft Project.
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and client requirements to identify potential schedule impacts.
- Collaborate with project managers, estimators, and field teams to develop target schedules and monitor progress.
- Identify and mitigate schedule risks, delays, and changes through regular analysis and reporting.
- Develop and implement recovery schedules to address delays and prepare delay claims as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience (minimum 5 years) in heavy civil construction.
- Advanced knowledge of current industry CPM scheduling software packages and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
- Experience working with project management, logistics, resource planning, and material management preferred.
- Familiarity with various construction concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Ability to travel frequently to job sites.
