What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Supervisor position at The Midtown Group?
One of our local partners is looking for an outstanding clinical supervisor to join their team on an assignment that should last at least 6-12 months. This role would be responsible for overseeing a non-licensed clinical team as well as conducting community visits working with patients with persistent serious mental health diagnoses. This role will interview and start ASAP!
Duties : Clinical Supervisor provides clinical and administrative supervision to the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) Program team members and to consumers on the ACT Team. The position works closely with the Director in providing intensive, integrated, rehabilitative, and crisis treatment to adults with serious and persistent mental illnesses and adheres to the principles and practices of the ACT Fidelity Model.
Requirements :
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling or Psychology from and accredited college or university.
- Relevant license in appropriate discipline LGSW, LICSW, LGPC, LPC.
- 5 years of relevant experience with at least 3 being in a mental health setting with a preference working with an ACT Team.
- 1 year of previous supervisory experience.
- Driving is required. Must have a valid local license and clean driving record.
- Communication skills (written and verbal). Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to problem solve. Skills in co-occurring disorders treatment.
