What are the responsibilities and job description for the Federal Travel Program Support Specialist position at The Midtown Group?
Federal Government Agency has an immediate need for a contract Program Support Specialist for a contract running through December 2025. This will be a hybrid work opportunity, requiring in office 1-2 days per week, 6 days per month. Must be a US Citizen, and will require a background check.
Function Area / Division : Business Operations & Program Management / International Finance
Description :
1. Acts as travel coordinator for a division of 150 staff : makes travel arrangements, maintains travel itineraries, processes, and reporting requirements, form management and record keeping, etc.
2. Provide ad hoc program support to program leads, includes administrative and technical support.
3. Other ad hoc administrative duties as assigned.
Position / Skill requirements :
Experience using MS Office Suite, SharePoint, and E2 Solutions.
Must have strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
Outstanding clerical, customer service, organization, planning / scheduling, records management skills.
Must have strong communication and collaboration skills.
Must have previous experience working within a federal agency (contract roles acceptable), processing and supporting travel logistics and arrangements.
Job Types : Full-time, Temporary, Contract
Pay : $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours : 40 per week
