What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accounts Payable Specialist position at The Midtown Group?
Our client, a local government office, is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Specialist to develop and maintain system rules that trigger travel and expense audits along with performing monthly reconciliation of card expenses.
Contractor will provide comprehensive Senior Accounts Payable Specialist, including but not limited to:
- Process and review day-to-day entries of accounts payable invoices
- Review, analyze, and respond to external/internal supplier inquiries
- Ability to communication of accounts payable policies and procedures to appropriate parties
Contractor will deliver well-documented, efficient, and sustainable Accounts Payable solutions. Knowledge transfer through training and documentation is essential.
Expertise and/or relevant experience in the following areas are mandatory:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Google and large ERPs
- Graduate of any-four-year course, preferable Accounting
- Well-organized
- Thorough knowledge in Oracle application
