As the Messenger Dispatcher, the individual will supervise him/herself and a team of 3 messengers and, all customer relationships within the Building daily.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and dispatch messengers for timely pickups and deliveries.
- Monitor and track messenger routes to ensure efficiency.
- Utilize real-time tracking systems to manage assignments.
- Provide route guidance based on train schedules and delays.
- Maintain records of deliveries, schedules, and messenger availability.
- Communicate effectively with messengers, clients, and management.
- Address delays and troubleshoot logistical issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of NJ/NY rail systems, including NJ Transit, PATH, and Amtrak.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior dispatch or logistics experience preferred.
