Job Summary:

In this role, you’ll gain experience in both front-of-house responsibilities—greeting and seating guests as a Host and supporting servers with table service as a Wait Assist.

Essential Duties/Functions:

• Greet members upon arrival.
• Make sure all tables are set appropriately for daily reservations.
• Guide members to their table and accommodate special seating requests.
• Record reservations and walk ins on the reservations sheet.
• Set up and clean tables before and after service.
• Assist in handling Member and guest inquiries.
• Water tables as members are seated.
• Help clear tables as courses are completed.
• Refill water glasses and provide additional service as required.
• Bring used glassware and plateware to the dish pit.
• Support the team in maintaining the Club’s high service standards.
  
  

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Friendly positive attitude.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Strong communication skills.
  
  

Education and Experience:

• Experience in customer service, restaurant industry preferred but not required.
  
  

Physical Requirements:

• Walk, bend and stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to work outside in the summer months.

Pay Rate:

• $16-$18 per hour depending on experience.
