Located minutes from downtown Minneapolis, MN, The Minikahda Club was founded in 1898, It is the oldest country club west of the Mississippi and a premier club in the region. The Club experience is focused on providing superior social and recreational experiences based on the values of family, fellowship, integrity, respect, and inclusiveness.
Job Summary:
In this role, you’ll gain experience in both front-of-house responsibilities—greeting and seating guests as a Host and supporting servers with table service as a Wait Assist.
Essential Duties/Functions:
- Greet members upon arrival.
- Make sure all tables are set appropriately for daily reservations.
- Guide members to their table and accommodate special seating requests.
- Record reservations and walk ins on the reservations sheet.
- Set up and clean tables before and after service.
- Assist in handling Member and guest inquiries.
- Water tables as members are seated.
- Help clear tables as courses are completed.
- Refill water glasses and provide additional service as required.
- Bring used glassware and plateware to the dish pit.
- Support the team in maintaining the Club’s high service standards.
Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Friendly positive attitude.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Strong communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- Experience in customer service, restaurant industry preferred but not required.
Physical Requirements:
- Walk, bend and stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to work outside in the summer months.

Pay Rate:
- $16-$18 per hour depending on experience.
