Essential Functions
- Respond to Client/Carrier/Vendor/Mortgage Company inquiries/requests, document client service activities in the agency management system
- Follows business unit guidelines to market accounts once client needs have been identified
- Assist with the preparation of monthly new and lost business report
- production summary for new and lost business, lost business analysis, premium listing for Accounting
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with key Carrier staff
- attend Carrier functions and planning meetings
- promote optimum utilization of Carrier websites
- monitor coverage issues with Carriers
- Work with carrier appointed claim professionals on significant and/or severe claims
- report claims to appropriate carrier and/or BMV
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, Outlook
- 3-5 years of personal lines insurance experience in an insurance agency is preferred
- Demonstrated skills: sense of urgency, detail-oriented, excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision as well as collaborate among the team daily and contribute to MJ’s culture.
