Summary
- Work with internal customers on proactively identifying new opportunities to generate predictive and prescriptive analytics outputs for MJ clients across multiple disciplines to support:
- Informed Decision Making – modeling variability of individual solutions and impact solution choices / alternatives
- Storytelling – modeling future position given trajectory of trends ~ both client specific (i.e. loss trends) and industry specific (i.e. market conditions)
- Identify and facilitate the creation of new analytics visuals and enhancements to existing reports, including current descriptive analytics
- Able to train others on how to effectively leverage analytics tools to play out different scenarios for individual clients
- Development of professional-level reports and models using a variety visualization tools and techniques
- Extrapolates and interprets data, performs statistical analysis, forecasting, and trending while developing and leveraging actionable analyses to support business unit capabilities development and deployment (specifically strategic marketing, risk services, claims)
- Familiar with modeling techniques and statistics used to recognize trends and patterns in data, understands industry dynamics used to generate predictive modeling, and have used this knowledge to draw meaningful conclusions and develop actionable analyses that drive business decisions
- Work closely with the Data and Automation team to propose new automation opportunities and/or data sources that would
- Allow for analysis that isn’t possible with the current dataset
- Gain efficiency in producing necessary or existing outputs
- Work with external customers on business problems, understanding of their risk profile, and proactively identify new opportunities through research and analysis
- Ability to present analysis and recommendations in a clear and concise manner to internal customers (producers and client executives along with functional unit leaders – strategic marketing, risk services, claims) to establish buy-in and influence strategy
- Collaborate with Employee Benefits Analytics Team to support the development and deployment of APERTURE and a OneMJ solution to client-facing analytics and reporting
- Motivate, mentor, develop and direct a team
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products: Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint
- Familiar with the use of an Agency Management System and a document management system (imaging)
- previous use of Benefits Analytics a plus
- Bachelors degree in business or work equivalent
- Demonstrated business analytics experienced with the following: predictive and comparative analysis, data management systems, statistics, actuarial science, health data systems
- Strong working knowledge with data related to risk management and healthcare
- Demonstrated skills: detail-oriented, excellent organizational and time management skills

Salary : $100,000 - $160,000
