We are seeking an Operations Coordinator, Music on a contract basis to assist the Music Development Manager and Music Operations Team with day-to-day administration and communications within the company Music Initiative program. The role is 100% remote to these locations: Baltimore, MD, Boston, MA, Houston, TX, Los Angeles, San Diego and Menlo Park, CA.
What You’ll Do:
Work closely with the Music Development Manager, Music Operations Team, Artist and Repertoire (A&R) Coordinators, and internal and external Composers to help facilitate receipt of all newly approved music documentation
Enter new music and artist entries into Digital Asset Management (DAM) and insure complete and accurate data needed for ingestion
Work closely with Music Production, Music Operations and Audio Librarian to help get all music files uploaded and available for use quickly and consistently
Act as liaison and assist in communications between Audio Librarian, Music Supervisors, and company/external teams for collecting usage/project data as needed
Assist the Music Operations Team with DAM content analysis, and other administration as needed
Assist with metadata review and quality assurance for backlog catalog and work directly with Music Operations to process incoming content
Work with the Music Development Manager and Music Operations Team on special budget analysis projects
Must-Haves:
3 years of administrative experience, preferably in an arts/music organization
Strong interpersonal communication skills
Experience multi-tasking and prioritizing in a fluid, fast-paced environment, with attention to detail
Experience communicating and working well with artists and creatives, and thrive in a team environment
Data-driven and listening and interpreting the music
Strong computer skills (Including MS Outlook, Google Docs, Word, Excel, Dropbox, Cortex) preferred
Education:
Bachelor's degree is required
Hours & Location:
M-F, 40 hours/week. This role will be 100% remote.
