Warehouse Lead: Plastic Injection Molding

THIS IS A TEMP TO HIRE POSTION THROUGH AN AGENCY.

We are currently seeking an experienced warehouse lead to help oversee daily operations and work hand in hand with the Production manager and all personnel to ensure smooth and effiecient management of materials and production processes.

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Shift: 1st ( 8am-4:30pm)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan, oversee and participate in the warehouse operations and activities. Receive, process, and issue warehouse stock; ensure stock and warehouse facility is maintained in a safe, clean and orderly condition.
• Receive, identify, mark and place materials sent to the warehouse according to established procedures.
• Process requisitions for supplies; prepare various merchandise for delivery; prepare packages for shipping according to established procedures.
• Inspect forklifts on a daily basis utilizing the daily checklist.
• Load and Unload trucks safely.
• Communicate with various Pierco personnel, departments, vendors and others to provide and receive information, resolve questions and issues, and coordinate activities.
• Maintain a variety of records, files and reports; maintain records of stock and order supplies as necessary.
• Operate a variety of warehouse equipment and vehicles; utilize a variety of hand tools as required; communicate the maintenance and repair of warehouse equipment to management promptly.
• Operate a computer to process reports and forms and maintain inventory of warehouse materials.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations neat, maintaining clean shipping supply areas utilizing 5’S methodologies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular attendance.

• Modern warehousing and storekeeping procedures including shipping, receiving and issuing materials, proper and orderly storage, optimum space utilization and stock inventory procedures.
• Materials, equipment and supplies used in a manufacturing environment.

ABILITY TO:

• Plan, oversee and participate in the warehouse operations and activities Pierco.
• Receive, store, pick-up and distribute supplies, materials and equipment.
• Maintain appropriate stock levels.
• Establish and maintain effective storage keeping procedures.
• Train and provide work directions to others as necessary.
• Add, subtract, multiply and divide quickly and accurately.
• Operate a computer terminal.
• Communicate effectively electronically orally and in writing.
• Independently Lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain records, inventory and prepare reports.
• Establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others.
• Meet schedules and timelines.
• Pulling orders and verifying accuracy of all shipments made to customers.
• Filling out the appropriate shipping documents, and ensure accuracy of: BOL (Bill of Lading), Ship to address, Special shipping instructions.
• Scheduling and follow-up of all common carriers and/or customer will calls for shipments and/or deliveries.
• All shipping and receiving functions.
• Operating a forklift and get forklift certification.
• Inventory control and inventory accuracy.
• All warehouse functions:
• FIFOWarehouse layout.Warehouse 5SKeep warehouse clean and safe.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
