What are the responsibilities and job description for the After School/Summer DSP position at The Moore Center?
Description:
Looking for after school/summer help to support in home and community goals for two happy, energetic, 10 and 11 year old girls with high functioning autism. They love to play games, Lego’s, paint, and build. Love to play outside on bikes, go to the park, and library. They love to learn playing video games and with the tablet. They may have minor challenging behaviors when things don’t go as planned. Using tools to help self-regulate when they are having anxiety. Must be patient, and kind. They can be very social but sometimes might need some quiet time when feeling overwhelmed. Sometimes what may work for one of the girls may not work for the other. They love meeting new people just looking for the right match.
Training will be provided.
Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle is required
After school / school vacations/summer : 20 hours a week M-F $32/hr.
