What are the responsibilities and job description for the Family Directed Services-DSP position at The Moore Center?
Family is looking for a DSP with experience caring for someone on the spectrum and with mental illness.
Brynn is a 25-year-old female who loves music (Taylor Swift, etc.), writing lists, swinging, watching tiny house programs, and spending time with cats. She has a cat in her home that she shares with her parents. She works 10-15 hours a week at Markets Basket in Hooksett, NH. She lives in Manchester and likes to go out and about walking, shopping, visiting Darbster Kitty, the library, or attending art classes. She can struggle with anxiety and have mood swings and difficult OCD thoughts. Overall, she is sensitive, generous, bright and creative.
Mileage reimbursement up to 107 miles a week.
Schedule:
35 Hourse a week.
M-F or T-Sat.
25 Day hours and 10 Residential (in the home)
Requirements
- Access to reliable transportation and adequate car insurance
- Prior experience working for individuals with developmental disabilities
- Ability to work together with client to complete organizational tasks
- Ability to carry out individual service goals and communication goals
- Documentation of services
- Consistent contact with Case Manager about program activities
