Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer with a background in designing training solutions for industries such as power, airlines, and pharmaceuticals. The ideal candidate will be skilled in developing video-based content and creating interactive, engaging learning experiences using Articulate Storyline. A strong ability to transform complex technical and industry-specific content into visually appealing and easily understandable materials is essential. The candidate should also be adaptable and thrive in cross-functional teams to collaborate with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and other departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop eLearning modules, Web based training, guides, interactive simulations, and exercises for diverse industries (power, airlines, pharma).
- Create videos and multimedia content using Articulate Storyline to enhance the learning experience and simplify complex topics.
- Develop course outlines, storyboards, and scripts to effectively present technical content, with a focus on video integration.
- Apply adult learning principles to create materials that cater to different learning styles and ensure engagement.
- Build interactive elements, diagrams, and simulations to support hands-on and practical learning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including subject matter experts, project managers, and stakeholders, to ensure training materials meet industry standards and requirements.
- Ensure all training content meets quality standards and effectively supports skill development across industries.
- Gather and incorporate feedback from stakeholders and learners to refine training materials and ensure they remain relevant and clear.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, English, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 5 years of instructional design experience, with a focus on industries such as power, airlines, and pharmaceuticals.
- Advanced proficiency in Articulate Storyline, with a strong ability to create videos and multimedia content.
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and how to implement video-based learning.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning methodologies.
- Excellent writing and video scripting skills, with the ability to break down complex topics into engaging, clear content.
- Proven ability to work in cross-functional teams and adapt to changing project needs and environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Industry experience in power, airlines, or pharmaceuticals.
- Expertise in using multimedia tools (including Articulate Storyline) to create interactive videos, diagrams, and simulations.
