Position Summary
Supports the Data Transfer Department with the importing, exporting and quality control of data, while following regulatory requirements. Responsible for the quality control of accounts, handling of client documents, along with the downloading and uploading of client files.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Transfer client data, files and reports pertaining to collections law firm
- Ensure that all required documentation is obtained, accounts are boarded correctly, any special procedures are set up and all aspects of the conversion meet the servicing requirements of the client or firm
- Maintain knowledge of current practices and procedures of collections practice including client policies and procedures
- Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements, deadlines and steps required in the collections process in order to transition data/information to and from the client without delays or missed steps in the process.
- Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements, disclosure and reporting for CFPB, FDCPA, etc.
- Quality control of firm data loaded into the system to ensure firm and client policies are followed.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- 1 Year of office work experience.
- A strong interest in working with data.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word required.
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
