Job Summary: The Peer Program Support role is responsible for providing assistance and support to individuals in need within our non-profit organization. This position plays a crucial role in promoting the well-being and empowerment of program participants.
Job Hazards:
- Working with people in crisis
- Working outside in elements at time
- Working with people in homeless camps
- Possible exposure to hazardous material
- Physical strain from lifting and moving program materials
- Exposure to large groups of people
Supervisory Responsibilities: None
Duties/ Responsibilities:
- Offer emotional support and guidance to program participants
- Assist in the development and implementation of program activities
- Facilitate group discussions and workshops
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of participant progress
- Collaborate with program staff to ensure the smooth operation of programs
