Description
Basic Function: To provide administrative support to the Club. To provide excellent customer service to The Club’s members and potential members. Responsible for answering phones, directing member inquiries, and assisting Director of Membership.
Essential duties and responsibilities: The following job duties are essential to the successful and satisfactory performance of this job. Other duties may be assigned.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Greet members and assist with inquiries.
- Respond to member inquiries; determine the most appropriate person to respond to their inquiries.
Remain knowledgeable about Club services, programs and calendar of events.
- Answer the telephone; transfer calls to proper extensions; take messages as appropriate
- Assist with prospective and current member functions.
- Maintain privacy of member paperwork. Sharing information with another member, employee, or other person is strictly prohibited.
- Complete administrative functions on the computer as appropriate; send and receive faxes, operate the stereo and television as assigned.
- Copy, file and organize facility paperwork; maintain cleanliness of office supplies and storage areas.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Must be able to work well under pressure and meet all deadlines.
- Adhere to all stated policies and procedures.
Requirements
Qualifications: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Excellent telephone etiquette skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to interact with a large and varied group of people including members and potential members in a professional and courteous manner.
- Fluency in English, through both verbal and written communication; able to speak, understand, read and write.
Knowledge and Certificates: Ability to operate telephone systems and ability to use a computer required.
Experience: Customer service experience required. Administrative skills required. Prior hospitality knowledge preferred.

- Requires indoor work only, schedule and times are usually set but may vary occasionally.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- While performing duties of the job, employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee is required to regularly sit, balance and stoop, kneel or crouch and walk. Must be able to pull and lift up to fifteen (15) pounds.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderate.
Machines/Equipment/Tools used:
- All office equipment and computer including Microsoft Office Suite and Northstar.
- Telephone system, copy machine, fax.
Classification: Hourly, non-exempt.
Supervision: No supervisory duties are included in this position.
