What are the responsibilities and job description for the Digital Marketing Specialist position at The My Auto Group?
The My Auto Group is looking to add a key member to our growing marketing and advertising team! In this position, you will be responsible for our digital marketing operations for our Muskegon area dealerships. Your core responsibility is to help grow and maintain our dealerships' customer base while also increasing brand loyalty and awareness both in our local and surrounding communities. Our ideal candidate is someone with experience in marketing, social media management and graphic design.
Day in the life:
- Create and schedule content for social media and ads for multiple locations
- Send out monthly newsletters for multiple dealership locations and brands
- Monitor and reply to customer comments on social media as well as online customer reviews
- Update Google Business Pages for multiple locations
- Communicate and collaborate with sales and service teammates at multiple off-site locations to gather content for monthly newsletters and social media
- Develop content for event support - social posts, website landing pages, digital ad strategy
- Work with management to create monthly marketing plans based off incentives, inventory and need
Responsibilities:
- Manage all social media platforms and social media management tools.
- Work directly with Marketing Interns to develop and implement marketing strategies and campaigns across various channels including email marketing and social media.
- Analyze data from Google Analytics and other sources to measure campaign performance, various advertising sources and make data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams at multiple locations to create compelling content and copy for marketing materials.
- Manage and grow customer newsletters and social media profiles for multiple locations
- Assist in the creation of advertising materials, such as brochures, flyers, and digital ads.
- Respond to customer reviews
- Attend events as representative of My Auto/take photos for co-op and social media
- Make changes to website as needed: update specials, create banners, keep up-to-date with manufacturer requests
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or Equivalent Work Experience
- Proficient in Adobe. Able to create original and edit existing content.
- Ability to create engaging social media content
- Knowledge of various marketing channels, including email marketing, SEM, Google Business, and social media.
- Familiarity with the latest trends, tech, and methodologies in digital and graphic design
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams at multiple locations
