Are you a strategic HR leader seeking an opportunity to build and enhance HR operations? Our client is seeking a Director of Human Resources to join their team β€” a newly created role designed to elevate HR functions and support organizational growth.

This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of key HR initiatives, drive positive change, and influence company culture. While this role will initially be an individual contributor, there’s significant potential to build and lead a team as the company continues to expand.

Position Details:

  • Title: Director of Human Resources
  • Location: Quincy, MA (4 days onsite, Fridays remote)
  • Salary: $125,000 - $140,000 (commensurate with experience) bonus'


Key Responsibilities:

πŸ”Ή Partner with the Head of HR and HR Manager to improve processes across payroll, benefits, audits, and reporting

πŸ”Ή Oversee the administration of retirement plans (Defined Benefits and 401(k)), ensuring compliance and clear employee communication

πŸ”Ή Lead talent acquisition efforts, enhancing efficiency and the candidate experience

πŸ”Ή Manage both day-to-day HR operations and strategic initiatives

πŸ”Ή Evaluate and improve total rewards programs to ensure market competitiveness

πŸ”Ή Manage vendor relationships tied to recruiting, benefits, and talent development

πŸ”Ή Develop KPIs and metrics to assess HR performance and identify improvement opportunities

πŸ”Ή Advise and collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with business goals

πŸ”Ή Foster employee engagement through effective communication and knowledge-sharing initiatives

πŸ”Ή Partner with department leaders to enhance recruitment and staffing strategies


What We're Looking For:

βœ… 10 years of HR experience, including 3 years in a leadership role

βœ… Strong HR generalist background with expertise in total rewards, talent acquisition, and HR operations

βœ… Proven success in balancing strategic vision with operational execution

βœ… Experience managing payroll, HRIS, and employee benefits

βœ… Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

βœ… Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field (Advanced certifications like MBA or SPHR are a plus)

βœ… Experience in the financial services industry is a plus but not required
