Key Responsibilities
- Assist with posting job openings, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and coordinating new hire orientation programs
- Address basic employee inquiries and direct complex issues to appropriate HR team members
- Process enrollments, changes, and terminations in benefits programs; provide general information about benefits to employees
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files, ensuring compliance with retention policies and confidentiality requirements
- Assist with time and attendance tracking, verify payroll data, and resolve basic payroll inquiries
- Help ensure organizational compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and healthcare-specific regulations
- Support coordination of training sessions, maintain training records, and assist with preparing training materials
- Assist with planning and executing employee recognition programs and wellness initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 1-3 years of HR experience, preferably in healthcare or a related field
- Knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and best practices
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information
- Experience with healthcare compliance requirements (HIPAA, etc.) preferred
