Human Resources Manager – Talent Management & Development
We’re seeking a Human Resources Manager – Talent to lead all talent-related initiatives, including recruitment, employee development, performance management, and compensation strategy. This is an individual contributor role that offers the opportunity to own the HR/TA function while providing leadership to our Administrative Team.
The ideal candidate brings at least 5 years of HR and talent acquisition experience within a professional services environment (finance or legal preferred), thrives in a fast-paced setting, and has a hands-on, team-oriented mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Lead full-cycle recruiting from junior to senior-level roles
- Manage partnerships with external recruiting firms and sourcing strategies
- Guide hiring managers on best practices and recruitment timelines
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience
Talent Development & Management
- Design and execute learning, development, and performance strategies
- Partner with leadership on succession planning and career pathways
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on employee performance
Compensation & Benchmarking
- Conduct market research and benchmarking to ensure competitive compensation
- Support salary planning, benefits design, and policy updates
- Collaborate with leadership on comp strategy and planning
Employee Engagement & Retention
- Promote a positive work environment through employee programs and feedback loops
- Drive initiatives that support satisfaction, recognition, and development
- Act as a trusted resource for employees and leadership
HR Compliance & Operations
- Ensure compliance with all employment laws and regulatory requirements
- Oversee onboarding/offboarding, employee recordkeeping, and HRIS reporting
- Maintain up-to-date HR policies and training
What We’re Looking For
- 5 years of HR and/or Talent Acquisition experience in a small to mid-sized professional services firm
- Deep understanding of recruitment, employee development, compensation, and compliance
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
- A self-starter who thrives independently, yet values collaboration
- High emotional intelligence and maturity; a true team player
- Experience leading or mentoring a team is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree required; HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred
