Medical Assistant

We are seeking a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CMA) with a compassionate and patient-centered approach to join a dynamic pediatric team. This role is integral to providing high-quality care to patients ranging in age from newborns to young adults. Position: Full-Time or Part-Time (2 Openings)

Hourly Rate: $25-$26/hour (depending on experience)

Location: Fully Onsite

Schedule: Flexible options available:

• 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts
• 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and prepare patient visits by reviewing charts, obtaining chief complaints, and taking vital signs.
• Prepare and administer immunizations.
• Perform vision and hearing screenings.
• Conduct CLIA-waived Point of Care Testing (e.g., Urine dips, Hemoglobin, Lead, Strep, COVID, Flu, RSV).
• Assist with lab sample collection and transport.
• Accurately document patient information in the EMR system (EPIC experience preferred).
• Clean, restock, and prepare exam rooms after each visit.
• Assist nurses and physicians with basic medical care and procedures.
• Follow protocols for hazardous waste disposal and universal precautions.
• Monitor and restock supplies; notify management of shortages.
  
  

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical medical experience required.
• At least 1 year of pediatric experience strongly preferred.
• Phlebotomy skills (preferred).
• Familiarity with EMR systems (EPIC experience desired).
• Current BLS/CPR certification.
• Excellent customer service and attention to detail.
