Busy Boston law firm is seeking an experienced attorney with expertise in municipal law, land use, and/or real estate transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in real estate matters while navigating the intersection of public policy and private development.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and negotiate purchase agreements, leases, disposition agreements, and development contracts for public and private clients
Guide clients through permitting, subdivision approvals, and zoning relief
Counsel on affordable housing
Handle title issues, easements, and rights-of-way for public infrastructure and private development
Represent clients in land use appeals, zoning disputes, and related litigation
Assist with public finance, tax incentives, and public-private partnerships
Ensure compliance with state and local regulations
Qualifications
5 years of experience in municipal law, land use, and/or real estate transactions
Strong background in zoning, permitting, and development
Excellent drafting, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
