We’re seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to provide strategic HR support and guidance to the General & Administrative (G&A) teams. This role offers the opportunity to partner with innovative teams and contribute to impactful work within a fast-paced environment. Pay Rate: $55–$60/hour

Location: Hybrid to Cambridge, MA

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

Duration: Coverage for a leave

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and organizational design.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to managers on performance issues, employee engagement, and organizational development.
  • Partner with leadership on hiring plans, job descriptions, and workforce strategies.
  • Collaborate with Learning & Development to identify and address training needs.
  • Partner with Compensation to ensure salary reviews and internal equity.
  • Advise employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Drive and implement HR initiatives and change management activities.
  • Work with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to align programs with business needs.
  • Develop positive relationships with employees at all levels, maintaining trust and confidence.

Required Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (minimum).
    • Associate degree with 8–10 years of relevant experience may be considered.
    • PHR/SHRM certification is a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 5–7 years of progressive HR generalist or business partner experience.
    • Experience working in a biotech/life sciences company is preferred but not required.
    • Experience partnering with senior leadership and global teams.
  • Skills and Systems Knowledge:
    • Proficiency in HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors preferred).
    • Familiarity with performance management systems such as Performance Pathway.
    • Strong business acumen and ability to consult and influence leadership.
    • Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
    • Knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
