Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders on workforce planning, talent management, employee relations, and organizational design.
- Provide guidance and coaching to managers on performance issues, employee engagement, and organizational development.
- Partner with leadership on hiring plans, job descriptions, and workforce strategies.
- Collaborate with Learning & Development to identify and address training needs.
- Partner with Compensation to ensure salary reviews and internal equity.
- Advise employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Drive and implement HR initiatives and change management activities.
- Work with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to align programs with business needs.
- Develop positive relationships with employees at all levels, maintaining trust and confidence.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (minimum).
- Associate degree with 8–10 years of relevant experience may be considered.
- PHR/SHRM certification is a plus.
- Experience:
- 5–7 years of progressive HR generalist or business partner experience.
- Experience working in a biotech/life sciences company is preferred but not required.
- Experience partnering with senior leadership and global teams.
- Skills and Systems Knowledge:
- Proficiency in HRIS systems (SAP SuccessFactors preferred).
- Familiarity with performance management systems such as Performance Pathway.
- Strong business acumen and ability to consult and influence leadership.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of employment laws and best practices.
