Seeking a Full-Time Family Assistant
Location: Briarcliff Manor, NY
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule: Monday to Friday, typically between 8:00 AM and 6:30 PM. Start and end times may vary depending on the family's needs.
Children: 2 and 4 year old
Pay: $30/hr
Benefits: 40 hours guaranteed per week, 2 weeks paid vacation, 2 sick/personal days, 6 paid federal holidays
Duties and Responsibilities
Provide loving and respectful care, help children grow and learn through activities such as reading, singing, playing sports, arts and crafts, and age-appropriate games
Drive the children to and from school, playdates, and extracurricular activities
Clean and maintain kitchen areas related to the children (bottles, dishes, lunch boxes, etc.)
Run errands, including grocery shopping, when children are at school (as needed)
Assist with tasks such as nap training, potty training, bathing, administering medicine (if approved by parents), and restocking essentials (e.g., diapers, wipes, paper towels)
Provide regular updates to parents throughout the day (e.g., photos, videos, or notes on food consumption, naps, and activities)
Requirements
Clean driving record, valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Experience driving children
A minimum of 3 years of paid nanny experience caring for newborns and toddlers
CPR and First Aid certified
Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Willing to commit long-term
Should live within 20 minutes of Briarcliff Manor, NY
Non-smoker
Strong swimmer
Schedule flexibility required, Monday to Friday, typically between 8:00 AM and 6:30 PM. Start and end times may vary depending on the family's needs. A minimum of 40 hours per week is guaranteed, with availability for additional hours when necessary.
Proficient in cooking, including meal prep and grocery planning
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 per hour
