A warm and welcoming family in the Queen Anne neighborhood seeks a dedicated Family Assistant to help create a harmonious and joyful home environment. They are currently a family of three and are excited to expand their family in the near future. They are ready to embrace the support that will allow them to thrive. Their adventurous 22-month-old daughter is filled with energy and curiosity. She has a passion for water play, climbing, and exploring her surroundings. She delights in her weekly music class and attends Little Gym, where she thrives in an active and engaging atmosphere. She can be described as sweet, inquisitive, shy (at first), and mischievous.

As a family, they treasure their weekends, often embarking on outings that strengthen their bonds—whether it's a fun-filled day at the zoo, a stroll through the park, or enjoying festive holiday events. Family dinners at Grandma's or Grandpa's house are also a cherished tradition, providing opportunities for love, laughter, and connection with extended family.

ABOUT THE FAMILY ASSISTANT// They seek a candidate who can work independently and effectively manage their time. Someone who can organize and then organize some more. It is essential to find someone who can ensure that common areas are tidy and inviting. The ideal candidate should also promote positive communication within the family to foster a supportive and nurturing atmosphere. This position would be suitable if you are passionate about assisting families and creating a harmonious home. In addition, if mom has a doctor's appointment or something similar, it would be amazing to have a candidate who is excellent with children and could stay with their daughter.

HOURS// 20-25 hours per week

DAYS// They are flexible as finding the right fit is the goal, though ideally, Tuesdays and Thursdays, predominantly afternoons, and then a third day, possibly on Fridays or weekends, would be helpful.

START DATE// As soon as the right candidate comes along

RATE// Around $40 per hour, DOE

QUALIFICATIONS//

- At least two years of family assistant work

- Clean background check

- Pediatric CPR/First Aid certified and or willingness to do so before the start date

- Always maintain good, open, and honest communication with parents

- Will be someone who possesses a strong work ethic
