HOUSTON, TX (LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY) - A high-profile family located in the Memorial area of Houston, TX is seeking a warm, engaging, and experienced full-time nanny to care for their three children—a 7-year-old girl, a 6-year-old boy, and a 2-year-old girl. This is a local search for a professional and reliable nanny who is enthusiastic about working with a busy, active household and is open to occasional travel. The family is seeking someone who is open to summer travel abroad in June and July.
The two older children attend school from 8 AM to 3 PM, and the youngest will begin a three-day preschool program from 8:15 AM to approximately 2:30/3 PM in August. The general schedule for this role is Monday through Friday from 3 PM to around 8 PM, with flexibility for occasional evenings and weekend support. The position guarantees 40 hours per week, and occasional travel may include trips to Los Angeles & Orlando to Disney Parks.
Responsibilities include transporting the children to and from school and extracurricular activities, caring for them in the afternoons and evenings, tidying up their spaces (including the outdoor area), and keeping the children’s belongings organized. The home includes a pool, so comfort and awareness around water safety is important. The family also has a small Yorkie and a pet tortoise—while the pets require minimal care, the nanny should be comfortable with animals and help the children stay involved in their care.
The ideal candidate is proactive, kind, organized, and confident working in a busy, high-profile household. A positive attitude, adaptability, and a team-oriented mindset are essential. The family employs a housekeeper and expects the nanny to help maintain tidy, kid-focused areas, not perform deep cleaning. A signed NDA provided by the family is required upon hire.

- BA/BS COLLEGE DEGREE | AA IN RELATED FIELD OF STUDY | OR A MINIMUM OF 5 YEARS OF PROFESSIONAL NANNY EXPERIENCE
- UP TO DATE FIRST-AID & CPR CERTIFICATION (WILLINGNESS TO RENEW AS NEEDED)
- THE ABILITY TO MAKE A ONE-YEAR COMMITMENT UNLESS APPLYING FOR A TEMPORARY POSITION
- A PASSION FOR WORKING WITH CHILDREN
- 5 YEARS OF CHILDCARE EXPERIENCE IN ANY FIELD
