The Nantucket Club Desk Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to club members and guests, managing the front desk, and maintaining a clean and organized club environment.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service:
- Greet and welcome all members and guests in a friendly and professional manner.
- Check in members and verify membership status.
- Register guests and collect appropriate fees.
- Promote club events and activities.
- Front Desk Operations:
- Manage incoming calls and provide information to callers.
- Stock and sell supplies as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized desk area.
- Facility Maintenance:
- Keep gym equipment, machines, floors, and locker rooms clean and organized.
- Track program logs for pools and fitness classes.
- Ensure towels are washed, dried, and folded.
- Security:
- Be responsible for the safety and security of self and others.
- Additional Duties:
- Complete any undefined work assignments as assigned by management.
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Equivalent of a High School Education
- CPR and First Aid Training
- Reception experience preferred
- Strong customer service skills
- Basic math skills
