JOB SUMMARY: The Surveillance Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining surveillance equipment, watching both live and recorded video surveillance footage and reporting incidents or suspicious activity.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Diligent in the consistent and strategic surveillance of the gaming floor and observation of operators throughout assigned shift.
- Ensure all equipment is operational and documents/reports any malfunctions immediately to the Surveillance Assistant Manager or above.
- Ensure surveillance activities are properly documented.
- Ensure all incident reports are completed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Properly secures all potential evidence from CCTV video recordings.
- Consistently adheres to strict confidentiality in all matters related to property Surveillance
- Consistently utilizes proper radio etiquette.
- Cooperates with New Hampshire State Lottery Officials and the police as directed to support a positive working relationship in support of the Surveillance operation.
- Effectively records all gaming transactions in accordance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory guidance.
- Follows all policies and procedures as they relate to addressing barred patrons.
- In the absence of the Surveillance Assistant Manager, inform the Director of Surveillance of all significant incidents. This includes bomb threats, scams and cheating, mass disturbances, loss of coverage of either of the counts or collections, etc.
- Provides BIG Service to internal guests and ensures their complete satisfaction.
- Develops and maintains professional, trusting, and positive working relationships with managers, supervisors, staff, coworkers, guests, and vendors.
- Ensure work activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
- Works safely, including clearly understanding and following company safety policies and procedures, completing work in a safe manner, caring about safety of self and others, responding appropriately in an emergency, and reporting unsafe conditions.
- Maintains regular attendance at scheduled shift meetings.
- Assists with training/mentoring of new Team Members as requested.
- Maintains all appearance standards in accordance with established uniform and appearance guidelines.
- Inform the Assistant Surveillance Manager on duty of any irregularities and unusual situations when they occur.
- Keeps a friendly, calm, and helpful demeanor in high-stress situations and a continuously fast-paced environment.
- Is honest in all interactions and displays a high degree of integrity.
- Works independently with little to no supervision or as part of a team is required.
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must be 21 years of age or older with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- At least one year of related experience/training preferred.
- Knowledge of Table Games preferred.
- Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
- Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Hampshire gaming license.
