JOB SUMMARY: The Surveillance Technician is responsible for aiding the surveillance department in the daily operations. This includes maintaining the schedule system maintenance and related technical support for the surveillance and access control systems. This includes assistance of protecting the assets of The Nash Casino. The Surveillance Technician ensures the surveillance system will run smoothly and efficiently for the Surveillance Department and property. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Installs Surveillance Department equipment such as wiring, cameras, PC equipment, racks, conduit, and chases as well as the installation of connectors and terminals.
- Maintains, diagnoses, and troubleshoots systems and equipment.
- Receives notifications from the Surveillance Department of issues and prioritizes issues based on date of notification as well as location of malfunctioning equipment.
- Inspects, repairs, tests, and services cameras and system equipment. Records all information in a log and keeps it up to date.
- Implements preventative maintenance of cameras and equipment for surveillance operations.
- Maintain computerized listings of camera locations, angles, types of connections, power sources, serial numbers, lens sizes, etc.
- Knowledge of hand tools and electronic testing devices.
- Participates in the development and implementation of key strategies, best practice techniques and tactics to ensure systems optimization.
- Assist in Planning and execution of projects.
- Maintain and update computerized listings of camera locations, angles, types of connections, power sources, serial numbers, lens sizes, etc.
- In charge of scheduling routine maintenance on equipment and camera cleaning.
- Research Surveillance Technology and recommend enhancements to ensure efficient and cost-effective Surveillance Operation.
- Retains spare parts inventory. Ensures all equipment functions properly and effectively and responds accordingly.
- Works with security and surveillance to detect/address any irregularities and responds accordingly.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable gaming laws of the New Hampshire gaming commission and company internal controls, policies and procedures, liquor laws, title 31, and federal regulations, as they apply.
- To provide BIG Service to internal guests and ensure their complete satisfaction.
- The ability to develop and maintain professional, trusting, and positive working relationships with managers, supervisors, staff, coworkers, guests, and vendors.

- Assist with training/mentoring of new Team Members as requested.

- Ability to work independently with little to no supervision or as part of a team is required.
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Must be 21 years of age or older with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Technological knowledge required.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid New Hampshire gaming license.
- One year of repairs and troubleshooting of electronic equipment, computers, and IP based CCTV related equipment
- Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks.
- Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy.
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled.
