What are the responsibilities and job description for the Hotel Front Desk Agent position at The Natchez?
We are currently seeking outstanding front desk agents to join our front office team! If you have an outgoing personality, and enjoy working with people in a hospitality setting, a position in this downtown property may be right for you. The front desk is focused on providing excellent customer service to our guests in house as well as via email and chat to our potential future clients. In this department, you will have a direct impact on the overall experience of our guests as well as the property's ability to gain future bookings.
The Natchez Vacation Rentals features 12 luxurious and modern condominium style units, centrally located in the heart of downtown New Orleans. This property was built circa 1830 and has been beautifully renovated into luxury rental condominiums. A 24 hour hotel-style front desk offers concierge services and a high level of customer service to all guests.
We are currently seeking to fill both a part-time and a full-time position. Your schedule will be a variety of morning (8am-3pm) and evening (3pm-11pm) shifts. Weekend availability is expected regularly. Overnight shifts are not required for daytime employees unless requested by the employee. The full time position requires flexibility in scheduling. Working on weekends and holidays, including Mardi Gras time, is required.
Front Desk Agents must be proficient on computer programs such as Microsoft Word and must excel at professional writing skills and proper email etiquette. Customer service experience is required. Previous hotel experience is not required.
