The National Bank of Malvern is seeking a Service Manager to join our team. Applicants should have a minimum of two years retail banking experience preferably in a supervisory position such as head teller, customer service representative, or assistant branch operations manager. The National Bank of Malvern has been at the heart of the Malvern community for over 140 years. We are a small community bank with two branches. The Service Manager is responsible for managing the operations of the branch and satellite office to meet the financial service needs of customers in our community. The Service Manager leads the team to ensure an exceptional customer and team member experience, manage risk, and support growth. As a leader, you will coach, motivate, and develop your team of direct reports to achieve their full potential while providing world class customer service.

Reports To: Senior Vice President Deposit Operations

Position Overview: The Service Manager is primarily responsible for managing the branch and satellite office to meet the financial service needs of customers in our community. The Service Manager leads the team to ensure an exceptional customer and team member experience, manage risk, and support growth. As a leader, you will coach, motivate, and develop your team of direct reports to achieve their full potential while providing the highest quality of service to every customer.

Primary Responsibilities:

· Responsible for the efficient and effective operation of the branch

· Provides recommendations regarding improved operating systems, processes, and procedures.

· Possesses a working knowledge relating to bank products and services in order to process account transactions and related maintenance.

· Reviews 3rd party vendor reports for suspicious activities and Fraud in OLB and EFT applications.

· Research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex problems and inquiries escalated from external or internal customers. Provide explicit instruction and authorization for appropriate correction to customer account(s), as needed.

· Assign duties and assisting in training personnel.

· Supervises day-to-day administrative and operational activities of the branch staff.

· Consistently promotes high levels of customer awareness and satisfaction.

· Performs additional duties as required.

Minimum Education: High School or GED

Minimum Years Experience: 2 years retail banking experience preferably in a supervisory position such as head teller, customer service representative, or assistant branch operations manager

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to perform in a fast paced and or changing environment
  • Ability to use general office equipment
  • Ability to use a personal computer and job-related software
  • Driver’s license: ability to travel between branches when required

Experience with the FIS Horizon operating system preferred but not required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
