Job Title – Chemical Laboratory Quality Assurance Technician
Job Description: Under the supervision of the technical director, the chemical quality assurance technician performs laboratory testing on production samples to ensure that products meet all specifications and are free of defects. The QA technician is also responsible for all aspects of record keeping and retain storage to maintain compliance with quality assurance certifications and regulatory agency requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform laboratory testing on all production batches to confirm that products are within set specifications
- Produce and maintain accurate and up to date records of all test results
- Organize, maintain, and dispose of product retains in compliance with quality certifications and regulations
- Generate certificates of analysis based on test results
- Review incoming raw material COA’s to ensure raw materials meet specifications
- Sample and test incoming bulk shipments for approval before offloading
- Prepare sample formulations
- Monitor laboratory supply usage and ordering patterns
- Refill laboratory chemicals from plant/warehouse as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- College degree in laboratory sciences, chemistry, or other related scientific field
- Experience in laboratory work (basic wet chemistry)
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook)

Pay: $43,000.00 - $46,000.00 per year
