What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bartender position at The National Exchange Hotel?
Under the direction of the Management team, perform assigned responsibilities necessary for service of guests in the restaurant, in keeping with the standards of Lola. Deliver responsible service of alcohol to guests at Lola. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Provide service of alcoholic beverages as outlined in Lola’s Responsible Service of Alcohol.
- Ensure that all guests at the bar are given proper service of food and wine in accordance to the restaurant’s standards.
- Responsible for producing all alcoholic beverages for the dining room while delivering friendly and knowledgeable service to guests at the bar.
- Organize and prioritize daily side work to ensure their timely and correct completion.
- Responsible for a working daily knowledge of the Lola wine list and menu.
- Maintain a clean, sanitary and safe work environment. Keep all service stations/areas clean and organized at all times.
- Communicate service needs to colleagues and work together as a team in order to provide seamless service to all guests.
- Report any and all issues that arise with guests to a member of management in a timely fashion.
- Measure all spirits used to control inventory.
- Requisition any necessary bottles of wine or spirits from a member of management.
- Ensure that any and all beverages made are rung in and paid for.
- Responsible for cash till.
- Maintain a personal appearance that is neat and clean and have a clean and pressed uniform at all times.
