Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in political science, public policy, or a related field.
- Minimum of six years of experience in legislative, government relations, lobbying, or related fields. Experience with or exposure to agricultural labor and nutrition policy is especially welcome.
- Proven track record of successful advocacy and policy impact at the national level.
- Strong understanding of the legislative process, regulatory environment, and political landscape related to agriculture and dairy issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective advocacy strategies.
- Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Versatility to manage multiple projects at the same time.
- Knowledge of the dairy industry and its key players is a plus.
- 7.5 hour work day
