Memory Care Coordinator

The Neighborhood Retirement Community is a beautiful CCRC in Rio Rancho. We are currently looking for a compassionate and talented Memory Care Coordinator to join our team! Our Memory Support Coordinator position involves training and supervising others in our signature memory program called Halcyon. You'll make a difference in residents’ lives by planning & implementing activities including arts, education, outdoor recreation, and self-care; as well as teaching other staff and upholding the Halcyon Vision and Values in your daily work. Advocate for resident rights, coordinate with community organizations for enriching events, and handle administrative tasks to ensure activities align with residents’ needs and interests. Wages: $18.00 - $22.00 /hr DOE

Schedule: 8am - 5pm; M-F with occasional weekends

About you:

• The big ticket items:
  • Must have previous experience in a Memory Care setting (in roles such as: Activities/CNA/Med Tech/Caregiver)
  • The heart of a teacher; the experience and ability to teach and educate team-members
  • An encouraging and mentoring nature; previous supervisory experience
• The nitty gritty:
  • Current and valid CPR and first aid certification. (AZ: Basic Life Support and Food Handlers card is also required.)
  • Knowledge of electronic medical records and clinical software systems.
  • Required to complete the Activities Director certification course post hire
  • Required to complete certification in the Halcyon Memory Support Program
