Assistant, Library and Archives (Part Time, Temporary Term)

Starting Hourly Range : $19.56 - $22.00 per hour

The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art is seeking a Part-Time Temporary Assistant to support the Library and Archives department. This position is funded for six years and will play a key role in ensuring the efficiency and smooth operation of the department.

About the Role
Key Responsibilities :
- Budget and Finance : Manage payment processing for invoices and purchasing cards, track departmental expenses, and ensure accurate budget reporting.
- Program Support : Coordinate logistical needs for departmental programs, including room reservations, AV setup, and supply ordering.
- Data Management : Maintain organized financial records and assist with annual library system updates.
- Communication : Serve as a point of contact for internal and external inquiries, supporting seamless coordination with museum staff and vendors.
- Special Projects : Contribute to departmental initiatives and cross-functional museum projects as needed.
