Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Tax Manager - CPA (hybrid / flexible schedule) $110K - $165K DOE.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax accounting, compliance, and planning

Key Responsibilities :

Manage and prepare complex tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, trusts, and estates
Oversee tax compliance processes and ensure adherence to federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations
Develop and implement tax strategies to optimize clients' tax positions
Lead and mentor a team of tax professionals, delegating tasks and reviewing their work
Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing expert tax advice and consulting services
Conduct tax research on complex issues and stay current with tax legislation and IRS regulations

Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Master's in Taxation preferred

CPA certification required

Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

Excellent communication and leadership abilities

Skills :

In-depth knowledge of tax laws and regulations

Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Excellent client service skills and ability to build lasting relationships

Proven ability to lead and develop staff members
