What are the responsibilities and job description for the Office Administrator position at The New England Computer Group?
We are The New England Computer Group (NECG), a growing Ridgefield, CT based IT Managed Services Company Established in 1992. We are a premier provider of IT services in Fairfield County and cater to a wide variety of businesses in the Fairfield and Westchester Counties.
Applicant must be willing and able to perform various administrative duties to support daily business operations including, but not limited to:
- Answering phone
- Speaking with clients, prospects & vendors
- Purchasing
- Setting appointments
- Taking & relaying messages (by phone & e-mail) to various people within company
- Learning our online support software
- Be VERY good at documenting tasks & procedures
- Be detail oriented
- Assist Leadership Team as needed
- Basic maintenance tasks like keeping the kitchen stocked, watering plants, etc.
- Doing online research for various topics
- Must be extremely resourceful and a self-starter who knows how to "find the answer"
- Keep the office running efficiently, smoothly and neatly
- Applicant should have a nice personality, friendly voice & be patient - (if you can "SMILE through the phone," you're halfway there)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
