Duties
- Develop and implement engaging art lesson plans that align with educational standards.
- Teach various artistic techniques and mediums, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
- Assess student progress through standardized testing and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages creativity and self-expression.
- Collaborate with other educators to integrate art into broader educational themes.
- Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning needs, including students with autism.
- Utilize learning technology to enhance instructional delivery and student engagement.
- Maintain an organized classroom space that showcases student artwork and promotes a positive atmosphere.
Skills
- Strong understanding of early childhood education principles and early intervention strategies.
- Experience working with students of varying abilities and backgrounds.
- Proficiency in literacy education techniques to support students' overall development.
- Ability to proofread lesson materials for clarity and accuracy.
